Express train will serve São Paulo F1 Grand Prix

The São Paulo Formula 1 Grand Prix runs November 6–8 at the José Carlos Pace circuit in Interlagos.

ViaMobilidade, which operates São Paulo’s Lines 8 and 9, will run a special express train to help spectators reach the event.

The train will travel directly to Cidade Dutra station, about 700 metres from two circuit gates, without stopping along the way.

It will be available from Villa-Lobos–Jaguaré, Pinheiros and Morumbi stations, with departures planned every 30 minutes.

Tickets cost from R$35, and a trip from Pinheiros to Cidade Dutra is expected to take about 25 minutes.

The service offers an alternative to road travel during traffic restrictions around the circuit; the regular Autódromo station will remain open for other passengers.

Tickets can be bought through ViaMobilidade’s website, and Cidade Dutra will be set up specifically for the special service.
