Skattebo gets no touches as Giants lose to Saints

The New York Giants lost 34-27 to the New Orleans Saints in Week 6 of the NFL season.

Running back Cam Skattebo had no carries or targets, despite playing six snaps.

The Giants had been expected to give Najee Harris a larger role, as Skattebo’s four fumbles this season led to a reduced role in the backfield.

One of those fumbles came in overtime against the Washington Commanders the previous week, ending a chance for the Giants to win before the game finished in a tie.

Coach John Harbaugh said Skattebo’s lack of action was not planned and said he was not benched.

The Giants used Tyrone Tracy Jr., Devin Singletary and Harris in the rushing attack against New Orleans.
