Iman Al-Toukhi’s nephew says viral photo was altered

A widely shared image of Egyptian actress Iman Al-Toukhi was fabricated, her nephew Ahmed Mohsen said.

Mohsen said the image was altered from a still in the series Rabea Ta'ud.

The picture had circulated on social media as a recent photo of Al-Toukhi.

His clarification said the original image was from the television series, not a genuine recent photograph.

The claim corrects a false image being attributed to the actress.

The clarification did not say who changed the image or describe any further action.
