Flávio Bolsonaro's law firm issued at least R$13.7 million in invoices
Flávio Bolsonaro’s law firm issued at least R$13.7 million in invoices from January 2023 to July 2026, while he served as a senator in Brazil.
About half the invoices were for payments by other lawyers, and most described the work only as legal advice.
A search of court records found just one case in which Bolsonaro represented a client named on the invoices, though lawyers can also provide advice without appearing in court.
Federal police are investigating the firm’s transactions in an inquiry opened last week and overseen by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes.
The investigation began after signs of possible shared bank accounts with lawyer Willer Tomaz, a friend of Bolsonaro; both men deny sharing an account.
Police also sought a separate inquiry into Bolsonaro over possible involvement in suspected fraud involving Brazil’s social security agency, the INSS.

UOL reviewed 62 receipts and found that half were issued for payment by other lawyers.
