Delta 2.0 adds iPhone Duo support and Sega Genesis compatibility
Delta has released version 2.0 of its retro game emulator, adding support for the iPhone Duo.
The foldable phone’s different screen positions get specially designed controller layouts, including Nintendo DS controls that use its inner display.
The app adjusts to the Duo’s open and closed screens, and closing the phone can put a virtual DS to sleep.
In split view, the DS controls can stretch across the screen and overlap part of another app, such as a video player.
The update adds Sega Genesis game compatibility and improves library navigation and audio settings, including the option to mix game sound with music or podcasts.
Delta is now available worldwide through an App Store subscription, and direct Patreon support is available in the US, EU, Brazil and Japan.
Delta 2.0 adds Sega Genesis compatibility and support for Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo.
The update introduces a redesigned Liquid Glass interface and new controller skins.
On iPhone Duo, controller layouts adapt to the device’s orientations, and folding it while playing a Nintendo DS game puts the game to sleep.
Other additions include RetroAchievements, improved audio controls, and quality-of-life changes.
