Tanushree Dutta questions Nana Patekar's funeral and claims he may be alive

Actor Nana Patekar was reported to have died at 75 on October 8 after a heart attack.

His funeral was held at his farmhouse in Danje village near Pune.

Actor Tanushree Dutta questioned the timing and arrangements during an Instagram Live, asking why the cremation took place around midnight and why there was no prayer meeting.

She said Bollywood figures and the media did not see his body before the cremation, and questioned whether his family had seen it clearly.

Dutta also claimed that the body cremated was not Patekar's and speculated that he might be alive in Singapore or Malaysia.

She provided no evidence for those claims in the account of her comments.

She suggested a DNA test if Patekar had changed his appearance, but no next steps or response from his family are given.

Such a great legend, such a great person. A prayer meet should have been organised so people from Bollywood and the media could come, see the body and pay their respects.

In our religion, cremations are generally not performed after sunset. If so, why was the cremation held at midnight? What was the hurry? Why was it done in the dark?
