Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon attend Clooney justice awards in London
Brad Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, made a rare public appearance together at the Albie Awards in London on Friday.
The fifth annual event was hosted by George and Amal Clooney at the Natural History Museum.
The awards were created to recognize people who work for justice, often while facing personal risk.
They are named after South African anti-apartheid activist and former judge Albie Sachs.
This year’s honourees included Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy, Malawian rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala, American photojournalist Lynsey Addario and Congolese organization Justice Plus.
The event also recognized Brad Smith, a Microsoft executive and human rights advocate.
The Clooney Foundation for Justice says it provides free legal aid in areas including free speech and women’s rights.
The awards aim to draw attention to justice advocates and show them they are not alone.
