Friends of Idaho murder victims honor them at Boise wedding
Emily Alandt and Hunter Johnson married in Boise over the weekend.
The couple were among the first people to enter the University of Idaho students’ house in Moscow, Idaho, on November 13, 2022, after a roommate asked them to check on a strange discovery.
Inside, they found the bodies of four students who had been murdered: Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen.
At the wedding, a sign remembered Chapin, Kernodle and another friend, Katie Marshall, saying they were with the couple “today and everyday.”
Chapin’s mother, Stacy, shared photos from the wedding, including images of her family with the couple.
Alandt and Johnson have said they relied on each other for comfort after the tragedy, which they described as changing their lives.
The wedding tribute showed that the victims remain part of their friends’ lives.
