Al Duhail beat Al Sadd 3-2 with stoppage-time winner

Al Duhail beat Al Sadd 3-2 in Qatar’s football league on Sunday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Al Duhail took a two-goal lead through Jean Castilieto and Sultan Al-Breik, but Giovanni Henrique and Youssef Abdurazzaq brought Al Sadd level before half-time.

The teams were tied 2-2 at the break, setting up a close second half.

Both sides had chances, and a Al Duhail goal was ruled out after a video review for handball.

Tahseen Mohammed scored in stoppage time to give Al Duhail the win.

The victory was Al Duhail’s second in a row and lifted the team to 12 points, while Al Sadd suffered a second consecutive defeat.

The result keeps Al Duhail in the league race, with the two teams both on 12 points.
