McDonald’s brings back classic burgers and 2000s mini radios in Germany

McDonald’s has launched a nostalgia promotion in Germany after the McRib left its menu on October 27, 2026.

The returning food includes the 1955 Burger and the McFarmer, which is back after more than ten years.

The promotion also adds items such as Brie-filled fried cheese, though the full menu varies across the descriptions.

Five mini radios play clips of well-known pop songs by artists including Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and Cro.

Unlike the original radios offered with Happy Meals in 2004 and 2005, these are sold for an extra charge with selected meals, not included in a Happy Meal.

The radios are available for a limited time, with one announcement giving November 24 as the end date; another says the offer runs while supplies last at participating restaurants.

Selected items will also cost one euro on certain days when ordered through McDonald’s app.
