More than 100 tips received in unsolved Mallorca murder case
More than 100 tips have followed a TV appeal about an unsolved triple murder on Mallorca.
The victims were Bierkönig founder Manfred Meisel, his eight-year-old son and an employee, who were shot at Meisel’s finca near S’Aranjassa in 1997.
The appeal aired on the German programme “Aktenzeichen XY...
International” on 7 October 2026.
Some tips came from people who were part of Meisel’s close circle at the time.
Frankfurt prosecutors say there may be shifts in loyalty and a growing willingness among people to give further statements.
Investigators have described the killings as targeted and professional, but the motive and the people responsible remain unknown.
