Satyen Chaturvedi says his scenes as Sumantra were cut from Ramayana

Actor Satyen Chaturvedi’s scenes were cut from Ramayana, where he played Sumantra.

Sumantra is a trusted adviser and charioteer to King Dasharatha and later Lord Rama in the epic.

Chaturvedi shared pictures from filming and said he has no regrets and remains grateful for the experience.

Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, adapts Valmiki’s epic and stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita.

The story follows Rama’s battle with Ravana after Ravana abducts Sita.

The film is planned in two parts, and a sequel is scheduled for release in 2028.
