Five NBA teams add DirecTV access to DAZN local broadcasts
Five NBA teams have added DirecTV access to their DAZN broadcasts this season.
The teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs.
DirecTV customers need a Choice package or higher to watch the games.
The broadcasts were previously available locally only through DAZN, after the teams signed exclusive local rights deals with the streaming service.
The deal gives fans another way to watch, but they still need a DAZN or qualifying DirecTV subscription.
DirecTV has not announced refunds for customers who already bought DAZN, and it is unclear whether the teams will make similar deals with other TV providers.
DirecTV will carry local NBA broadcasts for all five teams whose local rights were exclusive to DAZN.
The teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs.
DirecTV customers with Choice or higher-tier packages can watch the broadcasts.
The agreement was announced on Monday, October 26, 2026.
