Police Send Several Kim Sae Ron-Linked Cases to Prosecutors
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency says police referred several people to prosecutors in cases linked to late actor Kim Sae Ron’s family.
The referrals include Kim Sae Ron’s mother and a person accused of impersonating her aunt; police decided not to refer her father.
The agency says the allegations include defamation with false information, sharing sexual footage and attempted coercion.
Police also referred lawyer Boo Ji Seok and YouTube operator Kwon Young Chan over alleged offenses, including defamation and distributing sexual footage.
The agency says Kim Se Eui of the YouTube channel HoverLab was earlier arrested and indicted in connection with the case.
The cases have now been sent to prosecutors, who will consider them; the referrals are not findings of guilt.
