Helene Fischer’s Christmas show bans Halloween costumes at October tapings

Helene Fischer’s Christmas show is being recorded in Düsseldorf on October 30 and 31, dates that fall on Halloween weekend.

The organizers have asked audience members to wear festive gala clothing, not Halloween costumes.

The show will not air until December 25, when it is scheduled for broadcast on ZDF, ORF and SRF.

The ZDF said costumes could confuse viewers when the show airs later.

The music show, hosted by Fischer since 2011, returns after being off air last year.

It is set to air on Christmas Day, with guests including Nina Chuba, Roland Kaiser and Ronan Keating.
