Vikings' Aaron Jones to have MRI after aggravating knee injury
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones left Sunday's game after a 17-yard gain in the fourth quarter.
Coach Kevin O'Connell said Jones had aggravated a knee injury from earlier this season.
Jones sprained his left MCL in Week 2 and played through it while Jordan Mason was out for four games.
During that stretch, Jones handled most of the team's running back carries and offensive snaps.
He is due for an MRI on Monday, and the Vikings hope the injury is not long-term.
Mason returned Sunday, but a Jones absence could increase Minnesota's urgency to add a running back before the trade deadline.
