Yanggu festival to offer apples and siraegi at shared discounted prices

Yanggu County in South Korea will hold its Punchbowl Apple and Siraegi Festival from Nov.

6 to 8.

The event will take place near Seonghwangji in Haean-myeon, an area of the county.

Participating farms will use the same prices, unlike previous years when prices varied by farm.

Apples will cost 10,000 to 20,000 won less than retail, while siraegi, dried radish greens, will be 2,000 won cheaper.

The discounts and shared prices aim to make buying easier and help visitors avoid comparing prices between stalls.

The county says the festival will also showcase local apples and siraegi and their quality.
