CJ Perry’s Debut Novel Is Being Developed Into a Movie

Former WWE performer CJ Perry says her debut novel is being adapted into a movie.

The spy thriller, called Bulletproof Angel, was co-written with author Blake Northcott and is built around two female operatives.

Perry first announced the book in 2025 through a project that pairs athletes with authors to develop stories with film and television potential.

The movie is already in development, and the team is assembling its package.

Perry plans to produce the film and bring in an established actress for the lead role, though she may have a cameo.

A director is attached, but Perry has not named them.

The book is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026.

No, we’re going to get a bigger actress, like a bigger name. I’m producing it, though.

Well, the book comes out November 10th, and so we’re working on the packaging and stuff like that. I can’t give all the tea away, but we got a really good director on board. So, can’t give the names yet. I’m really excited.
