Browns extend defensive tackle Maliek Collins for two years

The Cleveland Browns agreed to a two-year extension with defensive tackle Maliek Collins.

The deal is worth $30 million, with $23 million guaranteed.

Collins, 31, joined Cleveland in 2025 and was due to become a free agent in March.

He has started all six games this season for the 4-2 Browns, recording 3.5 sacks so far.

The team is relying on its defensive front after Myles Garrett left this offseason, and Collins has helped Cleveland rank fifth in scoring defense.

The extension keeps Collins under team control through 2028.

Cleveland will count on him to remain available and continue contributing this season and beyond.
