South Korean Navy Holds Maritime Maneuver Drills Across Three Seas

The training is taking place in the East, West and South Seas.

Crews are practising air defence, anti-submarine and anti-ship operations, as well as resupplying ships at sea.
They are also training to detect and track ballistic missiles, a task the Navy says supports South Korea’s maritime-based three-axis defence system.
The exercises also included joint training with an amphibious task group south of Jeju, including ship manoeuvres and helicopter landings.
The Navy says the drills are intended to strengthen the fleet’s ability to respond to different threats across varied waters.
