Isabella Bernardini wears custom Audi dress at Brazilian Grand Prix
Isabella Bernardini wore a custom Audi dress at Interlagos ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Designer and upcycler Fiona Roerig made it with Bernardini and the team, using pieces from Audi’s special adidas collection for the race.
The dress uses forest green, metallic gold and local embroidery, drawing on São Paulo’s crochet and needlework traditions.
It also includes Bortoleto’s race number, five, as a reference to the Brazilian driver.
Bortoleto qualified 19th after sliding into the barriers in heavy rain and damaging his car.
He said the impact was not hard, but the team could not replace the damaged wing before qualifying ended.
He plans to seek a strong recovery race, though he said he may start from near the back of the grid.
