PwC plans to hire 1,368 people in Spain by year-end

PwC plans to hire 1,368 people in Spain by the end of the year, more than the 1,300 it hired last year.

The plan includes 889 recent graduates and 479 experienced professionals.

PwC says 1,029 people have already joined, with 339 more expected before the year ends.

Audit leads with 591 hires, followed by consulting with 295; the other hires are in legal and tax advice, transactions, and support roles.

Half of the new employees are in Madrid, 12% in Barcelona, and 38% across the company’s other 17 Spanish offices.

A quarter of hires have STEM degrees, while the other three-quarters come from business-related fields.

PwC says many new employees will take training programmes linked to their roles, including courses in finance, auditing, law, tax, and transactions.
