Brookfield Infrastructure unitholders approve corporate simplification
Brookfield Infrastructure Partners unitholders approved a corporate simplification at a virtual special meeting on October 14.
The plan would convert the partnership, known as BIP, into a Canadian corporation.
The conversion is not conditional on approval by BIPC shareholders, the company said.
It still requires a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
The conversion is expected before the end of 2026 if that order is received.
