YMTC revenue forecast to outpace peers as IPO plans advance

China’s YMTC is forecast to grow revenue six times faster than industry peers this year.

The company makes flash memory and is expanding beyond storage products for smartphones and personal computers.

Its server business could become a major source of revenue, with server-related products forecast to account for nearly 39% of sales by 2028, up from effectively zero in 2024.

Much of that growth is expected to come from enterprise solid-state drives, which are widely used in data centres.

The expansion is happening ahead of a planned IPO by YMTC’s parent, CCSH Corporation, on Shanghai’s Star Market.

CCSH is seeking to raise 33 billion yuan, while YMTC’s revenue grew 40% to 63 billion yuan in 2025.

The forecast points to a broader business as the listing approaches.
