Helene Fischer releases new single “Warum”

Helene Fischer released her new single “Warum” on 16 October as a preview of her upcoming album.

The song’s team includes returning collaborators Jules Kalmbacher and Jens Schneider, who also worked on her hit “Heute Nacht.”

Other contributors include songwriter Ela Steinmetz, producer Sascha “Busy” Bühren and producer Laura “Zauberdame” Morina, who have worked with Fischer before.

German rap artists Eko Fresh and MENJU also joined the team for the song, bringing different musical backgrounds to the project.

Eko Fresh has written songs for Yvonne Catterfeld and Matthias Reim, while MENJU has worked with Dardan, RAF Camora, Hava and Jazeek.

Lyricist Hanni Schäfer is another newer name in Fischer’s circle.

Fischer is due to give the song its TV premiere on “Schlagerbooom” the following day.
