Apple launches Korean-language beta of upgraded Siri

Apple has launched a Korean-language beta of its upgraded Siri through software updates to its devices.

The assistant can search messages, emails and photos to answer questions using information from a person's own content.

For example, it can find weekend plans in a message, check a recipe in email and add ingredients to a shopping list.

Siri can also work across apps and read on-screen information to complete tasks such as sending messages or adding events to a calendar.

The update brings visual features to iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro, and lets users continue conversations across Apple devices.

Apple says the system combines on-device processing with private cloud computing, where personal data is not stored on servers.

The beta is available on supported devices, but children under 13 cannot use it and server-based features have daily limits; Apple says it may offer a paid option to increase those limits.
