Berkshire Hathaway invests another $330 million in Bending Spoons

Berkshire Hathaway is investing another $330 million in Bending Spoons, an Italian technology company based in Milan.

It will buy 10 million newly issued shares at $33 each, raising its stake to 4%.

Berkshire had already invested $600 million when Bending Spoons went public in July.

Bending Spoons buys established technology companies and reorganizes them to improve their profitability.

Its portfolio includes AOL, Vimeo, Evernote, WeTransfer and Airtable.

The new investment gives the company more financial flexibility for acquisitions, as it continues to expand its portfolio.

The share sale still depends on the usual conditions for completing the deal, and Bending Spoons says it is reviewing further acquisition opportunities.
