Yandex suspends 2026 financial guidance after data center strikes
Yandex withdrew its 2026 financial guidance after drone strikes hit its data centers in Russia earlier this month.
The strikes disrupted services including ride-hailing, food delivery, maps, email and banking, as well as products run on Yandex infrastructure.
The company is still working to restore all services, though it says key features are back for users and businesses.
Before suspending its forecasts, Yandex had expected revenue to grow by about 20% in 2026 and adjusted EBITDA to reach 350 billion rubles.
Third-quarter revenue rose 12% to 411 billion rubles, while adjusted EBITDA also grew 12%, to 88 billion rubles.
The strikes happened after the quarter ended, so their financial impact was not included in the quarterly results.
Yandex may resume giving financial guidance in its next earnings report, but it has not confirmed that it will do so.
Yandex’s third-quarter revenue rose 12% year on year to 411 billion rubles.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 12% to 88 billion rubles, while adjusted net profit rose 2% to 46 billion rubles.
Yandex said attacks on its data centers occurred after the reporting period and did not affect third-quarter results.
The Moscow Times reported that Yandex withdrew its 2026 financial guidance after Ukrainian drone strikes disrupted its data centers.
