Celebrity Race Across the World trailer released ahead of 28 October launch

Four celebrity pairs will race from Borneo to Melbourne in the new series of Celebrity Race Across the World.

The teams are Princess and Junior Andre, Ella Eyre and her friend Nana, Jeff Stelling and his son Matt, and Sam Ryder and his friend Kaz.

They will cover 7,500km across three countries and two continents, starting in Kuching in the Malaysian state of Sarawak and finishing in Australia.

The contestants leave their phones and credit cards behind and travel with a map and £26 per person each day.

They must use local transport and their own resourcefulness to reach checkpoints ahead of the other teams.

The challenge puts pressure on the pairs as they travel, while the trailer shows Princess and Junior leaping into water together.

The series starts on BBC One and iPlayer on 28 October at 8pm.
