Thunder sign Dariq Whitehead and two others to Exhibit 10 deals

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Dariq Whitehead, Lamar Wilkerson and Nate Johnson to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts.

These deals give players a chance to join an NBA team’s training camp, but do not guarantee a place on its roster.

All three are expected to play for the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder’s G League team, this fall.

Each can earn a $91,000 bonus on top of a G League salary by spending at least 60 days with the Blue.

Whitehead, a 2023 first-round pick, played mostly for the Blue last season and later had a 10-day hardship deal with Memphis.

The Thunder waived three players earlier Friday to make room for the signings.

Houston also signed Caleb McConnell and Bryce Harris to training camp deals, while Cleveland signed Tre’Von Spillers; New Orleans, Portland and San Antonio waived players they had recently signed to Exhibit 10 deals.
