Hilary Rosen Named BAFTA Chair

Hilary Rosen will become BAFTA’s new chair, taking over from Sara Putt.

Putt is stepping down after a three-year term.

BAFTA is a UK organisation that recognises work in film, television and games, and supports talent through awards, industry work and development programmes.

Rosen has served on BAFTA’s Television Committee since 2021 and later chaired it, while leading original content at UKTV as its director of commissioning.

Ade Rawcliffe and Andrew Miller will serve as deputy chairs for two years.

New committee chairs have also been appointed, and Rosen will oversee BAFTA’s work alongside them and its Board of Trustees.
