John Wilson Films Harry Styles’ Madison Square Garden Tour
Filmmaker John Wilson is making a documentary about Harry Styles’ tour at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Wilson has been filming Styles since August during the singer’s Together, Together residency.
The residency began in late August and is scheduled to run through the end of October.
The film is expected to mix concert footage with stories from Styles, fans and people working behind the scenes.
Wilson is known for the HBO series How To with John Wilson and the documentary The History of Concrete, which takes an unusual, observational approach to everyday life.
That style could make this different from a standard concert film, though the project’s final shape is not yet known.
Universal Pictures Content Group, Peanut World Pictures and Styles produced the film, and Universal Pictures Content Group will own its global rights.
