USB has called a 24-hour national strike in Italy for October 30.

It is expected to affect public and private sectors, including transport workers in Rome and regional rail staff in Lombardy.

Rome buses, trams and metro services could be disrupted, but are scheduled to run from the start of daytime service until 8:29 a.m.

and from 5 p.m.

to 7:59 p.m.

Trenord trains across Lombardy may face delays, changes or cancellations from 9 p.m.

on October 29 until 8:59 p.m.

on October 30.

Some trains will run under legally required minimum-service rules, and replacement buses are planned for cancelled Malpensa Express trips.

In Milan, the ATM metro, tram and bus network is not expected to be affected by this strike.

Passengers should check live service updates and plan around the guaranteed hours.
