Calgary police seek passengers after bus crash that killed three

A collision involving two Calgary Transit buses and other vehicles happened on Oct.

15 in Saddle Ridge, in northeast Calgary.

The crash caused the natural gas tanks of one bus to ignite, followed by a fire and explosion.

Three passengers on the bus that caught fire died, and 16 people were injured.

Police say several passengers may have left before speaking with investigators, who are continuing to examine the crash.

They want to hear from anyone who rode either bus because their accounts could help the investigation.

Police are asking those passengers to come forward by contacting the Calgary Police Service Traffic Section at 403-428-4000 or the non-emergency line at 403-266-1234.
