24 Isolated Young Adults Gain Work Experience at 19 Organizations

A program in South Korea is giving 24 young adults with experience of isolation work placements at 19 public and private organizations.

The placements run from August 10 to November 6, 2026, in fields including charity, disaster relief, arts and social enterprise.

The program aims to help participants work with colleagues and prepare for entering society by gaining experience in real workplaces.

Each participant has a mentor to help them adjust to work and plan projects, including communications and marketing tasks.

The program is run by Anmu-seoun Company and the Youth Foundation as part of a government-supported work-experience initiative.

After the placements, participants will present their work and receive feedback from people in the field.

The organizers say they hope to help young people find work and a pace that suits them.
