Priyanshu Moliya scores unbeaten 321 for Baroda in Ranji Trophy

Priyanshu Moliya scored 321 not out for Baroda against Jammu and Kashmir in a Ranji Trophy match in Vadodara.

The 21-year-old faced 492 balls as Baroda made 616 before being bowled out on Day 2.

His score surpassed Baroda’s previous best of 319, made by Gul Mohammad in the 1946-47 final.

Moliya and Mahesh Pithiya, who scored 102, added 232 runs after Baroda had lost three wickets for 63.

Moliya learned his batting at an academy mentored by Mohinder Amarnath, a member of India’s 1983 World Cup-winning team.

At 13, Moliya had scored 556 not out in an Under-14 tournament, and he made his senior Ranji debut in 2022.

Jammu and Kashmir were 6 without loss at stumps, with their reply to Baroda’s total under way.
