Vitor Roque to miss Palmeiras’ first Libertadores semifinal leg

Vitor Roque will miss Palmeiras’ first Libertadores semifinal leg against Fluminense on Wednesday.

The match is scheduled for the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

The forward sprained his right ankle during Palmeiras’ 4-1 win over Corinthians on Sunday.

Although the injury is considered mild, he did not recover in time to travel with the team.

Palmeiras has set no return date for Roque.

The club will reassess him daily to decide when he can play again.
