Iusful raises €2 million for its AI-supported legal services platform

Italian startup Iusful raised €2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by United Ventures and Italian Founders Fund.

Founded by Roberto Marazzini and Michele Papagni, the company launched in June and serves businesses seeking legal support.

Its platform connects companies with selected lawyers and brings their legal work together, with clear costs and response times.

AI handles time-consuming preparatory tasks, while lawyers remain responsible for advice, decisions and legal validation.

The company says 58.4% of businesses have no regular lawyer, while 23.3% have never used one.

Iusful says it has handled more than 100 cases since launch, covering areas such as contracts, privacy, employment law and debt recovery.

The funding supports a service aimed at making routine legal help easier to access, and the company says it is speaking with multinational firms and businesses with revenue above €300 million.

Our goal is not to replace the lawyer, who remains central at every stage of the process. But technology comes in to handle preparatory activities that take more time, while the lawyer retains validation, advice, decisions and legal responsibility.

We started from our direct experience when we faced issues such as costs that were difficult to predict, long response times and technical language that was difficult to understand.
