Ferrari names Dino Beganovic its F1 reserve driver for 2027
Ferrari has promoted Dino Beganovic to reserve driver for its Formula 1 team in 2027.
The 22-year-old Swedish-Bosnian driver will work alongside Antonio Giovinazzi and take on additional development duties.
Beganovic is leaving Formula 2 after two seasons with DAMS, where he is fifth in the 2026 championship after wins in Madrid and Baku.
He spent seven years in Ferrari's driver academy and has taken part in four first practice sessions for the team.
He will not get a full-time F1 race seat, while fellow Ferrari junior Rafael Camara has signed with Haas for 2027.
Camara currently leads the Formula 2 championship as a rookie.
Tuukka Taponen will move up to Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix in 2027 after finishing third in Formula 3.
