No Man’s Sky Adds Horror-Themed Forsaken Update and Launches on iOS
Hello Games has released Forsaken, a free major update for No Man’s Sky.
The space exploration game is more than a decade old and is now available on iOS as well.
Forsaken sends players to wrecks and infested locations to scavenge haunted technology and biological samples.
They can trade what they find for biomechanical ship parts and other creepy gear.
The update also adds new ways to travel between stars, delivery missions, weapon menus and a simpler display.
These changes give players more to do whether or not they want the horror-themed activities.
On iOS, players with an iPhone 11 or newer can try the opening section for free.
Hello Games released the free Forsaken update, version 7.10, for No Man’s Sky on Oct. 28, 2026.
The horror-themed update adds scavenging encounters, biomechanical corvette parts, new weapons and spacesuit styles.
Players can find haunted technology and biological horrors in places including derelict hulks, abandoned freighters and infested outposts.
The update also adds quality-of-life changes, including nearby-star warping, postal missions and a minimal HUD mode.
No Man’s Sky also launched on iOS, with the update included.
