Four die in suspected arson attack on family home near Waterford
A fire at a home in Birchwood, outside Waterford city in Ireland, killed four members of a family early Tuesday.
The dead were parents Kim and Philip English and their sons Callum, 12, and Jayden, nine.
Their two other children, Nadia and Elliot, were in critical condition in hospital in Dublin, with Nadia on life support.
Police are investigating what they suspect was a petrol bomb attack on the house while the family slept.
The family had previously spoken about years of intimidation, and police had investigated an attempted arson attack at the home less than a month earlier.
Investigators are considering whether the fire may be linked to a drug debt, but the family was not responsible for any such debt, according to the account.
