Claude Code product lead Cat Wu leaves Anthropic
Cat Wu has left Anthropic, the AI company behind Claude Code.
She led product for the coding tool and was one of its two top leaders, alongside its original creator, Boris Cherny.
Claude Code became a major product for Anthropic, helping drive revenue and making the company a stronger rival to OpenAI.
Wu also oversaw Cowork, Anthropic’s tool for people doing non-coding work.
Her departure comes as Anthropic prepares for a planned IPO later this month, and another Claude Code team member, Thariq Shihipar, left last month.
