Jiangmen exports 740.3 billion yuan of goods to other APEC economies

Jiangmen, a city in China’s Guangdong province, exported 740.3 billion yuan of goods to other APEC economies in the first three quarters of 2026.

That was 7.4% more than a year earlier and made up 54.8% of the city’s total exports.

APEC is a regional group of economies, and the figures come as China hosts its “APEC Year” focused on economic and trade cooperation.

Home appliances accounted for 65 billion yuan of Jiangmen’s exports to those markets, including coffee machines made by local companies.

Shipbuilding also contributed: ship exports reached 52.3 billion yuan, while marine propeller exports rose 31.2% to 1.66 billion yuan.

Customs issued more certificates of origin for exports, which help document where goods were made, with the value covered by the certificates rising 19.4% to more than 30 billion yuan.

Local businesses are expanding their sales across Asia-Pacific markets, but no further plans or deadlines are given.
