Lenovo’s IdeaPad Vibe goes on sale early, starting at $799.99 in the US
Lenovo has put its Snapdragon-powered IdeaPad Vibe 14 on sale about a month before its planned November 2026 release.
The laptop is available through Lenovo’s online stores in the US, UK, Canada, the Eurozone, Malaysia and Singapore, with some pre-orders due to ship on October 28.
In the US, the starting configuration has 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid-state drive, and costs $799.99, $100 more than Lenovo originally announced.
That price is also $100 above the base MacBook Neo, while matching Apple’s 512GB model with Touch ID.
Lenovo’s laptop offers more ports and a higher maximum RAM capacity than the Neo, but its memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded.
Its screen is also rated at 400 nits and 45% NTSC, which the comparison says trails Apple’s device.
The early sale gives buyers another laptop option, but the higher-than-promised price and fixed memory may matter when comparing value and future flexibility.
