Walmart bundles Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus for $120 a year

Walmart bundles Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus for $120 a year

Walmart is combining Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus in a new annual membership bundle.

The offer costs $120 a year plus tax and is available only as a yearly plan, with no trial.

Bought separately, Walmart+ costs $98 a year plus tax and Sam’s Club Plus costs $120 a year.

Walmart is making the offer as Americans face subscription fatigue and the retailer seeks to win more customers.

Its US same-store sales grew 2.6% last quarter, the slowest rate since late 2020.

Walmart hopes the bundle will help it compete with retailers including Amazon, Target, Costco and BJ’s.

Walmart also says all employees will receive both memberships as a benefit, while the bundle is available to customers.

The company has not said whether it will add a monthly option or trial.
