Rodrigo Lussich reports severe toe pain as colleagues discuss gout

Intrusos host Rodrigo Lussich described severe pain in a toe during a live TV discussion.

He wondered whether gout, a form of arthritis, could be causing it.

Doctor Guillermo Capuya said gout seemed unlikely based on Lussich’s recent test results, though his uric acid level had not yet been checked.

Colleagues Mariano Iúdica and Mauro Szeta said they had experienced gout and shared their own suggestions.

Gout is linked to uric acid crystals building up in joints, and Capuya described its pain as sometimes extremely severe.

Iúdica advised reducing red meat, while Capuya outlined medicines used to treat gout; these were suggestions shared on air, not a confirmed diagnosis for Lussich.

Lussich still needs his uric acid level checked to help establish whether gout explains his pain.
