Admiral beats Neftekhimik 4-3 with goal nine seconds from the end

Vladivostok’s Admiral beat Neftekhimik 4-3 in a KHL game in Nizhnekamsk.

The teams traded goals after Admiral built a 2-0 lead in the first period.

Vladislav Tsitsyura scored the winner with nine seconds left, converting a power play.

Neftekhimik coach Igor Grishin said his team started and finished poorly, and needed to use its judgment as well as emotion.

The result gave Admiral its second win over Neftekhimik this season.

Neftekhimik remained second in the Eastern Conference with 25 points, while Admiral was eighth with 21.

Admiral next hosts Amur on November 1, while Neftekhimik visits Sibir that day.

We started the game badly and finished it badly. The guys probably want to become heroes, but end up becoming antiheroes. You need to play not only with emotion, but also use your head.
