Seoul’s Geumcheon District adopts slogan for its new administration
Geumcheon District in Seoul has chosen a new administration slogan: “A vibrant future, Geumcheon moves forward.”
The slogan was selected from about 400 suggestions submitted by residents.
“A vibrant future” signals a goal of improving residents’ lives and supporting local growth.
“Geumcheon moves forward” expresses the district’s aim to make change quickly as it works toward the future.
The administration says it will pursue six projects, covering the local economy, urban conditions, welfare and safety, education and culture, everyday services, and AI- and data-based government.
Its stated core values are people, communication and practicality.
The district plans to carry out those projects as it works to make Geumcheon a place residents want to live in and feel proud of.
