Modi accuses Congress of harming India to protect the Gandhi family

At a summit in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Congress and Rahul Gandhi.

He accused Congress of putting the Nehru-Gandhi family’s interests ahead of India’s achievements and progress.

Modi also accused the party of seeking foreign intervention to damage India’s image, a charge the BJP has repeatedly made against Rahul Gandhi.

He said Congress disruptions in Parliament prevent opposition MPs and government critics from being heard.

Modi argued that the party’s conduct weakens democratic debate, while saying protests for reform are necessary in a democracy.

He also promoted his goal of making India a developed country by 2047 and said the country is gaining strength in AI and semiconductors.
