Bayern beat Leipzig 6-1 as Kane scores in his 100th Bundesliga game

Bayern Munich beat RB Leipzig 6-1 in the Bundesliga, with Luis Diaz scoring a hat-trick and Harry Kane also finding the net.

Kane's goal came in his 100th Bundesliga appearance, and was his 102nd in the competition.

Bayern had recently drawn with Augsburg in the league and Viking in the Champions League, raising questions about their defending.

The win brought the defending champions back to their dominant form after they had dropped four points in their first five league games.

Bayern moved top of the table with 14 points, but Freiburg could pass them by beating Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.

Leipzig are seventh, after winning all three of their home games and losing all three away.

Bayern's next match is against Arsenal in the Champions League at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, 21 October.
